The Seven Vials (5th plague)

  • The 5th vial is poured on the seat of the beast and his kingdom of darkness (Rev. 16:10)
  • They gnawed their teeth in pain, yet they blaspheme God and do not repent. (Rev. 16:10-11)

The only other instance of verses with the words "seat" and "beast" is found in Rev. 13:2, referring to the leopard (possibly Germany and the European Union) - the third beast of Daniel's prophecy. (Dan 7:6)
